You could say it all began in third grade. That was when my book of poems won first place in my school’s Young Author’s contest. Years of participating in yearbook, newspaper, and speech contests led me to study communication in undergrad and public relations in grad school. My career has taken me from some of the top communications agencies to publishing houses, nonprofits and startups.

Years ago while working in PR, I landed a gig ghostwriting tweets for thought leaders in business, infrastructure, and sustainability. Little did I know that one freelance copywriting opportunity would open the door to what would become a new career.

Over the years, I have written for numerous brands. While writing for a dermatologist, I took a deep dive into fillers, botox and hair rejuvenation. From an Israeli VC firm, I learned about microgravity research and manufacturing in space. Through research for a wedding photographer, I discovered the best practices for planning a destination micro wedding. And I know firsthand how difficult it can be to articulate your who, what and why.
